Banks of the Ohio LP cover

A truly awful overdubbed mess of some of Olivia's early tracks. The original tracks were simply taken, and a hillbilly overlay laid down on top. The resultant mess was that the backing was out of time with Olivia's original, which was set so far back in the mix that you could hardly hear it. Avoid playing this AT ALL COSTS :-) A travesty of the originals.

Released on the Tring label in the UK, the company responsible for this disgrace had the brass neck to release the same tracks again under the "Success" label, with a photo from the 'Physical' era. Olivia was not the only artist who suffered at their hands - Tring and Success released a string of ultra-budget such mixes of other artists before someone managed to stop them. Avoid any products by these companies unless you want to be put off the tracks for ever. The execrable musical taste of the producers of this disc are matched by their inability to copy the track names correctly.

Not sure of the specific release date, probably late 1980s
