This was Olivia's note for the audience for Olivia's Houston concert. With thanks to Rheba Mabie.
Good evening and thank you for attending tonight's concert. Your attendance not only means a great deal to me personally, but also to the many wonderful individuals and groups striving to find a cure for cancer. I am happy that the Houston Symphony is supporting the work of the Susan B. Komen Foundation and want to remind you that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month- don't forget the October 12th Race for a Cure.
So, sit back and enjoy the music knowing that you are participating in finding a cure to this deadly disease, a very worthy cause I hold close to my heart.
