I really don't know where to start or what to tell you, except that Olivia was gorgeous (gold pant suit) I guess she will be wearing that outfit to all 4 shows, because of the DVD that is being filmed!  I guess she will want it to look like it was filmed on the one night...well...at least that's all I can think of!

Olivia was definitely full of energy & enjoying herself, from what I could tell it was a full house and the audience was fully into her show! They had the lights up, although not a full strength ( I guess to help with the filming of the DVD) so Olivia had a good view of most of the audience & kept waving to people in the audience everywhere, up on the balconies, up the back, everywhere! If she sprung you singing along, she waved her finger around like she was conducting you to sing....LOL She did it to me once!

Okay so I know you all like the details, so here goes the first thing I saw was that when Olivia sings 'Maybe I Hang Around Here A Little More Than I Should' usually from back stage and out of sight, well, I could see Olivia standing off to the side of the stage ( I've often wondered if she sang that bit live!) I can tell you she does! Because when it came time for her to sing it, I saw her put the microphone up to her mouth! WOW. I was excited to see that!

When Olivia came out on stage to thunderous applause, t took my breath away, I don't think I was breathing at all, in the first couple of songs!

I've got to tell you, her latest hair cut looks GREAT! It wasn't puffy it was straight & looking longer already! Olivia truly looked beautiful from head to toe!

The set list was as posted the first night, except I don't recall Olivia singing Pass It On, then again, maybe I blacked out for a few minutes...LOL.  I was damn excited!

The other interesting detail was and I've never seen this before Olivia was applying blush every now and then, when she went to sip her tea. I guess she wanted to make sure she was looking good for the filming. At one point she even applied lipstick, all with her back to the audience & without a mirror!

You can really tell it's very special for Olivia to sing for an Australian audience, Olivia had tears in her eyes a few times...like when she sang Tenterfield Saddler! To sum up, it was the most AWESOME concert & very well done Olivia!! I would of liked Marlen to be there but the other lady did a fine job too!
