The fan club were out in force at this charity dinner to raise funds for Olivia's cancer centre, fan club member Robert had managed to secure front row seats! We'd collected AUD$4000 for Olivia's centre and presented Olivia with the card and check during the dinner. Olivia was very appreciative. The fan club had a group table picture taken with Olivia by a professional photographer. There was a gift bag for each person consisting of a booklet from the ONJCC, Chocolate truffles from the Kimmel center, a pen from the Kimmel Center, a program titled "An Evening with Olivia", Philadelphia style magazine (with an ad for the show inside) and finally a Grace and Gratitude CD.
The concert was about an hour in length. Marlen still had a cane (from her fall during the Canadian tour) and really struggled getting to the other side of the stage during "Summer Nights." But Olivia made her feel better by doing the one legged hop with her. The governor of PA was there and made a short speech thanking Olivia. Also Olivia received a sculpture from the administrators thanking her for her involvement.
