Beverly Hills, Jubilation Concert, June 2000To mark the launch of CHEC's National Environmental Childproofing Campaign, Olivia with Jim Brickman, Kenny Loggins, Clint Black gave a wonderful live concert in Beverly Hills. Sundance April 1997Olivia appeared and sang live at this charity event for the Children's Environmental Coalition (CHEC). She sang several songs including Gaia, I Honestly Love You, The Air That I Breathe, the Tennessee Waltz and a new song co-written by herself called Let It Shine (different from the song of the same name appearing on the Clearly Love 70s album!). This song may well turn up on a film soundtrack. |

Los Angeles, May 1996In May, Olivia hosted a poetry reading and picnic in aid of CHEC with a start-studded guest list. The event was held at Alan Ladd Jr's marvellous Beverly Hills garden, and guests included Jamie Lee Curtis, Maria Shriver, Mel Brooks, Anne Bancroft and Deepak Chopra, the millionaire Hollywood set health guru in who Olivia sets great store by. Olivia read the Robert Burns poem 'A Red Red Rose' and Chloe read out Maya Angelou's 'Life Doesn't Frighten Me at All' |
