This concert is also being taped for a DVD/VHS release, guest performers will be announced nearer the time.TV and RadioOne World with Olivia Newton-JohnOlivia has filmed a new environmental series called "One World with Olivia Newton-John." The first three shows originate in The Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, with segments from other sensitive marine areas throughout the world. The first three episodes are to premiere Monday, December 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT; Episode 2 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT; and Episode 3 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on the US cable station Outdoor Life Network. It is then to be shown around the world and go into syndication in North Amercia from Spring 2003. Read the detailed press release.Grease 3Thsi is still in its planning stages and isn't yet confirmed. It'll be made for TV with Didi Conn (Frenchie) working on the script. Olivia says "The planning is so early at the moment that there still isn't a script. I think they are still figuring that out. I think it will be 20 years later with the children of us - you know. Sherry Lansing who is the head of Paramount announced to the press the night we released the DVD in Los Angeles that 'we are going to do Grease 3'. She told John and me that we'll have to sing and dance in it. We will see what happens. | CD ReleasesNew Duet AlbumBox Set and compilation plans!MCA/Universal have released some of Olivia's back catalogue in 2002. The next compilation release is to be a Love Songs Collection CD. Also in the plans are releases of Totally Hot and Physical on CD - the initial plans are to include bonus tracks! See press release by record labelA 30th anniversary box set is due in 2003 to celebrate 30 years since her first Gold record for Let Me Be there. It'll include hits and some of those rare B sides. Olivia has recorded a new dance track for release hopefully next year on her nephew's produced dance album (also featuring other artists). Sordid Lives DVDSordid Lives gets a long awaited DVD release in March 2003, following a VHS later in the year. Olivia plays bar fly singer Bitsy Mae, the independent movie was made in 1999. Olivia nominated for Golden GuitarNewton-John will contest the award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in Australia in January 17-25 2003. Marking a return to her country roots, Newton-John will stand beside Lee Kernaghan to sing their duet A Handful of Dust in the vocal collaboration event.
