On the windy beach Olivia chats with some local women about Australian
men. They reveal that some spend a long time surfing and in the pub but "men are men.
There are yobbos in every country." But they think on the whole Australian men are
changing and becoming less macho. Their husbands do have a romantic, if reluctant, streak
in them. One husband brings home flowers regularly but tells his wife how stupid he feels
walking through the city with them.
The conversation finishes on a somber note - their children are concerned for the future
of the planet, hoping no bombs are dropped leading into Olivia's Talk About Tomorrow
song.
