Xanadu shows a glimpse of the future while looking back at the nostalgic days of the musicals. Stars appearing besides Olivia are Gene Kelly and Michael Beck. The music is produced in collaboration with the Electric Light Orchestra. Released on DVD in the USA 1999. Extra footage compared to the regular VHS release included original 1980 movie trailer and bios of the main stars. There is also an Australian version of Xanadu on DVD, a French release, and a video CD released in Hong Kong.
