Olivia introduced a section of this show and
performed live Xanadu for this Danish concert to celebrate the 200th anniversary
of author Hans Christian Andersen.
The concert was televised live in Danish television in front of the Crown Prince
Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. The concert was held at
Copenhagen's national soccer stadium. Other performers included Tina Turner,
Daniel Bedingfield, Jean Michel Jarre and the American opera singer Renee
Flemming.
Hans Christian Andersen is famed for fairy tale classics including "The
Emperor's New Clothes" and "The Little Mermaid."
