An exclusive for Mary Hart from Entertainment Tonight - Chloe and Olivia talking for the first time about Chloe's recovery from anorexia (this was originally recorded earlier in the month). Chloe tells how she has had anorexia for 2 years but has "come out of it now". When asked what Chloe would say to people believing that she's still suffering, Chloe replies "No matter what I say, people are always going to have their opinion - "oh she's so skinny so she can't be." Chloe says she doesn't want to be known as "Olivia's daughter who's sick." She wants to concentrate on her album. When asked about the particulars of her illness Chloe says that part of her life is "a really big blur to me. I don't remember it."
They show the photo of Olivia and Chloe out shopping that caused the original controversy. On a more positive note Chloe is shown in the studio performing "Delicious" from her upcoming album. They also show snippets of Olivia performing "Grace and Gratitude." Chloe tells how her album and writing helped her recovery and that that she used every ounce of pain and every life lesson for it.
In the second part of the interview Olivia talks about Karen Carpenter. That was the first time that Olivia heard the word anorexia.
Olivia is very proud of Chloe - "I'll continue to say how proud I am of her to have the courage to sit here and talk to you about this. I think she's amazing. And that fact that she wanted to talk about it rather than be talked about. And I just have a lot of admiration for her." Chloe also talks about her admiration for her mother with the greatest compliment - "I hope to be like her one day."
