There's a nice rapport between Olivia and the host in this interview. The interview goes over the usual ground but the host is particularly warm and as a result Olivia's relaxed and happy. They talk about Xanadu and how Olivia was worried because the script was been written as they were filming. These worries were compounded when half way through the movie the director tells Olivia that he's going through a divorce and that he doesn't like music. This sets alarm bells ringing for Olivia because "he's directing a musical!" However, as Olivia says he pulled the musical segments together very well.
They talk about Olivia's cancer centre in Melbourne. Olivia wanted it to have the family name "Newton-John" but her relatives insisted that it be called the "Olivia Newton-John Centre". Olivia emphasizes the importance of having a positive outlook during illness and life in general. The interview ends with Olivia laughingly advising the host that he IS getting over his flu and to tell himself "I'll be better tomorrow".
