Olivia
and her singing partner Pat Carroll (Farrar) give a
news conference when they return to Australia after working in England.
Pat's Visa has run out. Olivia having been born in England doesn't need
one, she has a British passport. Pat tells the sad tale of waiting for
her Visa to be extended for 11 months. Pat got a reprieve for a couple
of months when she and Olivia went to Cyprus to entertain the
troops but eventually she has to return. Looking back on this
now is very poignant because Pat's singing career never took
off again after this setback. But before we get too upset Pat has a
happy life with two sons, a great marriage to John and various
business ventures.
