A great performance of I Need Love live (with some help from
the backing track for the spoken parts). Olivia looks lovely in her
leather jacket and cute skirt.
The audience are very
welcoming which seems to please but slightly surprise Olivia. Dennis
mentions that she has the "likeability" factor. They talk about the
Earth Summit. Olivia sensibly declines to comment politically on
Bush's environmental stance but urges the people to make their views
known. Her famous grandfather, physicist Max Born, is discussed. Olivia
says that people often want to meet her, not for her music, but because
she is the granddaughter of Max Born.
She promotes
her upcoming tour that is to begin at Caesars Palace in Las
Vegas on August 6th. Of course we know that Olivia discovers she has
breast cancer so the tour is eventually cancelled.
