Only Olivia has been on the web in one form or another since 1994, looking back over Olivia's career spanning more than four decades. Until September 2011 it was the website of the fan club of the same name

I am one of the former authors of the site, and still keep up with Olivia's music. It was a surprise to see the website gone in October. The erstwhile Only Olivia fan club website was a rich resource with lots of pages.

why are things in such a mess round here?

The history is probably better explained on the bit of how I fit in. It didn't happen on my watch, but the result is there are a couple of years missing (2011 and 2012) between when Melissa's team at Only Olivia moved on and I picked up the recovery tapes. It's a very large site for one guy to stitch back together so there will be a lot of broken links, sorry about that. I am trying to fix these one bit at a time.

The original Only Olivia forum went down with the old site, and I don't know whether there's an email list that keeps fans in touch like the old soulkiss-chat used to be before the forum. This Facebook group seems to be the closest replacement, and I recognise many of the old names :)

For interactive discussions take a look at the facebook group mentioned above. I don't personally get on that well with facebook, it feels like trying to read a newspaper through a microscope. To me it amplifies the minutiae and here and now at the cost of overview and reflection but perhaps I've just not found out how to use it right. Seems to work for everyone else, take a look .

Can you get me backstage passes/other favours?

No, I'm an ordinary guy and Olivia wouldn't know me from anybody else. So don't ask, m'kay?
