Young prize-winners
A Wollongong singer and a Melbourne schoolgirl are the winners of a teenage quest conducted on the Sing, Sing, Sing program.
THE singer is Derek Lee, 20, and the schoolgirl, Olivia Newton-John, 15.
The quest was sponsored by ATN 7 on Johnny O’Keefe’s teenage program in conjunction with the Sitmar Shipping Line.
The winners’ prize is a return trip to Britain in a Sitmar ship.
Derek Lee, a husky six-footer, hopes to establish himself in Australia before going overseas.
Olivia, who is still at school, will matriculate before she takes advantage of her prize in about 18 months’ time.
Johnny O’Keefe, the compere of Sing, Sing, Sing predicts a big future for Derek Lee.
