Olivia album review
OLIVIA’S THE NAME
-Another worthy achievement is “Olivia” from-yes, you guessed it Olivia Newton-John. A little-known artist until recently, she sings her way through a collection of well-known songs in her unmistakable way.
The album covers nearly all facets of her talents, and side two contains the more popular songs from George Harrison’s “What is Life?” her last single –to David Gates’s “Everything I Own.” Don McLean’s “Winterwood” is covered along with perhaps the best track, a self-composition, “Changes.”
With albums like this, Olivia will soon becoming a household name, and a star in her own right.
