Olivia going into Europe for Britain
Singer Olivia Newton-John has been chosen to represent Britain at next year's Eurovision Song Contest, which will be staged at the Brighton Dome in April.
Mis Newton-John, now on a concert tour of Australia, said in Sydney today: I am knocked out. It's all tremendously exciting and I am very happy to be singing for Britain.

Singer Olivia Newton-John (24) has been chosen to represent Britain at next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton.
Miss Newton-John, on a concert tour of Australia, said in Sydney today: I am knocked out.
She will bid to become Britain's third winner of the contest and will sing the entries on Jimmy Savile's TV show.
