OLIVIA Newton-John’s song in the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton on April 6, is Long Live Love… co-written by Valerie Avon and Harold Spiro. Valerie is the first woman writer of a British song for Europe. And some fifteen years ago she was in the charts herself as part of the Avons duo, and their top five chart-buster was Seven Little Girls.
