Last year’s new superstar, Olivia Newton-John, shows no signs of slowing down. Her newest album, “Have You Never Been Mellow,” blends a mixture of country, soft rock and easy listening cuts designed to appeal to the fans she has garnered in all three areas.
Miss Newton-John has rapidly developed into a fine singer. In this set she is backed by excellent production and arrangements throughout. The tunes have been carefully selected, with the John Denver, Tom Jans mode of easy country/rock most predominant.
