Meanwhile, Civic Center officials began negotiations with Olivia Newton-John for an afternoon concert Sunday APRIL 13 to precede her originally scheduled appearance that night which also sold out Saturday.
Civic Center Manager Jim Evans said about 2,000 tickets for Elvis third performance were sold Saturday. The Civic Center will seat 7,437 persons for each of his concerts and that of Olivia Newton-John. Evans said mail orders for the third Elvis concert received by Monday morning will be filled before tickets go on sale at the Civic Center boxoffice Monday.
