Olivia thrown by horse
Singer Olivia Newton-John is resting at her home to recover from injuries suffered when she was thrown from a horse Monday at the Malibu (Calif.) Riding and Tennis Club. Her doctor said she suffered a cervical and lumbar sprain and bruises of the back. He said the full extent of her injuries would not be known for several days.
Newton-John, described as an accomplished rider, was nominated yesterday for a Grammy award as best pop vocal female performer of 1975 for her recording of “Have You Never Been Mellow.”
