Bob Hope Christmas Special

THE CHRISTMAS SHOW Special: Bob Hope rings in the yule with Perry Como, Olivia Newton-John and Mark Hamill of “Star Wars”.

A sendup of that science-fiction epic has a Christmas theme the hijacking of Santa Claus. The cast numbers Olivia as a galactic princess; Como as “the most daring and relaxed astronaut in the solar system”; and Hope as Barf Vader, “the baddest cat in the universe.”

In another sketch, Hope and Hamill are two kids locked in a toy store overnight.
