Klaus flirts with Olivia - Bravo

BRAVO reader Klaus Zschocke won one of the most coveted dream dates: With the Gold Otto, he flew to Olivia Newton-John in Hollywood:

Klaus never dreamed that Olivia Newton-John would join in on every joke. He even took her in his arms for a dance...

There was never so much laughter at the Otto award ceremony: Olivia Newton-John and Klaus Zschocke (17) from Fuldatal hit it off right away.

This was despite the fact that Klaus was unable to ask almost any of his carefully prepared questions. When she suddenly stood face to face with me, I was so fascinated that I had forgotten all the questions.

But that didn't dampen the mood. The ice had already been broken when Olivia spotted her picture on Klaus's T-shirt. Klaus made the most of every minute with her. During breaks, he presented her with things to sign: posters, BRAVO articles, T-shirts, his silver jacket. Not because he simply couldn't get enough, but because he wanted to bring an autograph back to the BRAVO readers who had written to him.

Olivia was thrilled about the Golden BRAVO Otto, even though awards are nothing new to her. But the Golden Otto will be in my special corner, she beamed.

She smelt the bouquet of roses that Klaus had given her. When he also handed her a beautifully wrapped gift, she was so touched that she spontaneously thanked Klaus with a kiss.

The gift was a coat of arms plate from his hometown. That kiss made my blood rush to my head, Klaus later confessed.

The two chatted in German and English. He asked her about her ranch, she told him about her horses, cats, and dogs.

The farewell approached, and it was difficult for Klaus. Olivia extends her cheek to him, and Klaus expects another kiss. No, no, now it's your turn, she says. Klaus doesn't need much convincing...

And because Klaus is a great disco dancer and the atmosphere is so good, Olivia even lets herself be carried away for a short dance.

Klaus delays his departure with questions. Olivia explains that she's now planning a very long vacation. Her concert in Germany and the fantastic reaction of the fans surprised her so much that she wants to come back to Germany soon.

The rest of his stay in Los Angeles is no less exciting for Klaus. He wanted to see a recording studio for once, and so he was able to attend the recording sessions for Donna Summer in Giorgio Moroder's studio.

As he left, Klaus said: This won't be the last time I'll go to Los Angeles...
