Editor's note One of my fav photos of Olivia - in her turquoise blouse with her dog at her feet.

(Rough) Translation:

Pop fans are probably a little disappointed that there hasn't been any new information about Olivia's music lately. While enjoying the latest photos specially sent by her production company, we'll share three pieces of news.

She'll apparently begin work on her new album after she finishes her current film project, and it's expected to be released around autumn next year. It'll be nearly two years since her last album, Totally Hot (released November 5, 1978), but it's apparently going to include some great, touching songs. The longer you wait, the greater the joy, so don't cheat!

She established herself as an actress with the film Grease. This was her 2nd film, and she skipped her 1st and began filming her 3rd, XANADU, this October. Filming wrapped in early February 1980, after which she'll begin work on the aforementioned album.

The film is scheduled for release in the U.S. in August. She plays an angel who descends from heaven to earth, helping a man played by Michael Beck, star of The Warriors, who tries to create a dream palace on earth, and eventually falls in love with him. It's a musical fantasy in which she sings four or five songs, and the rest features about 10 ELO tracks. I can't wait to see it!

Finally, to give you a glimpse into her private life, she broke up with former Shadows member Bruce Welch, and is now in a passionate relationship with her manager, Lee Kramer, who is three years younger than her. The couple met in Monte Carlo, as his cousin is the fiancé of Olivia's best friend.

At first he was just her boyfriend, but now... They went on a secret ski trip together earlier this year, and recently they've been dating openly, so perhaps they'll end up together(?). Well, as the saying goes, those who interfere in other people's love lives should beware, so we'll end it here, but her kindness towards animals remains unchanged.
