Exciting Concert (Ogden, Utah)
Your paper’s Tom McCarthey must not have seen, heard, or felt the concert I went to. I attended the Olivia Newton-John concert, he must have went to something else. He went on Tuesday and I went on Wednesday.
From what I’ve heard, Tuesday’s concert was pretty slick. The concert that I attended was bursting with excitement. Olivia Newton-John, not only being pretty, sang, danced, and presented a warm personality to her audience. The costumes were terrific (Mr. McCarthey must be blind).
Her songs ranged from her early tunes - up to her latest ones. All of the numbers were staged beautifully, and worked out rather well. She began with: “Deeper Than the Night” and concluded with: “I Honestly Love You”.
Mr. McCarthey says that she tripped on the jump rope on his night. On the night I went everything ran smoothly, with not one interruption during the show. It was the best concert that I have ever attended.
Olivia Newton-John is so much more than just another pretty face, it’s too bad that Mr. McCarthey isn’t smart enough to realize it.
