Greatest Hits volume 2 review
Speaking as an 80-pound hunchback weakling, I find Diana Ross’s demand -“I don’t care if he’s young or old, just make him beautiful.. I want muscles” offensive. Perfectly suited for the rampant thighs of the aerobic generation, such sentiments have been predated by our own lady of the headband, Olivia Newton-John, in “Physical”.
This ditty is available again on Olivia’s Greatest Hits Volume 3 (Interfusion) along with other songs from the albums Physical and Totally Hot, the films Grease and Xanadu, and a couple of more recent releases. Olivia is pictured on the foldout sleeve clad but prostrate in a misty-eyed near-post-coital pose.
