Olivia at Koala Blue
Translation from Spanish:
The famous Australian singer and actress walked the runway with her models, always accompanied by her young daughter.
Superstar Olivia Newton-John has opened her third store, Koala Blue, in Orange County, a boutique inspired by Australia.
This new location also featured a unique addition: the first sportswear line designed entirely by her and her business partner, which will now be available in all stores. The colorful garments are heavily influenced by Australian trends.
“Pat and I are thrilled to introduce our sportswear through our most successful store to date,” said Olivia, adding, “South Coast Plaza was created to launch stores within the Koala Blue concept and is the perfect place to shop.”
More than 200 guests attended the Aussie celebration, which included a performance by an Australian orchestra and a fashion show. Olivia herself walked the runway alongside her young daughter, Chloe, who modeled children’s clothing.
Among the guests were Diana Stirling, director of the Koala Blue design team; Olivia’s sister, Rona Newton-John, who was busy promoting the center; and Christopher Atkins and Sarah Purcell, close friends of the actress.
Despite the success of Koala, both Olivia Newton-John and Pat Farrar, its founders, have insisted on remaining involved in virtually every aspect of the creative side of the business. Their sole aim is to make their store unique, offering merchandise that reflects the feelings and atmosphere of their native Australia.
