She is a 4 times Otto award winner
Translation from German:
Between 1978 and 1981, Olivia Newton-John, now 40 years old, had already won three Gold and one Silver BRAVO Otto awards. In addition, she received several Grammys in the USA, dozens of gold and platinum records, and in 1978 was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by the Queen.
The Cambridge native has been married to actor Matt Lattanzi since 1984 and is the mother of two-year-old Chloe Rose.
She temporarily turned her back on music and acting, focusing instead on her family, her luxury villa in Malibu, and her Koala Blue boutiques. Even the dancing she did with John Travolta in the 1978 blockbuster “Grease” is long forgotten.
It wasn’t until last year that she found being a stay-at-home mom a bit too boring, and Olivia rediscovered her true passion: singing.
Her friend Elton John quickly agreed to help her with a new album, and so “The Rumour” was born.
That Olivia has become spoiled and accustomed to her enormous success was quite evident during her visit to Germany a few weeks ago. She has a taste for luxury, only traveling around in the biggest cars, dining in the most expensive restaurants, and staying only in the best hotels.
