Smiling Through

6 months after cancer surgery, Olivia Newton-John comes smiling through

COURAGEOUS Olivia Newton-John is enjoying the most fan-filled holiday season of her life because she is winning her battle against cancer. Thanks to the love and support of her family, she has regained her feisty out look and stunning good looks.

Now Olivia tells pals she’s ready to move into her dream home and even return to the career that’s been on hold for three years.

Husband Matt Lattanzi has been a tow er of strength to his stricken wife, and friends say that the couple are now closer than ever. And 6-year old daughter Chloe has given Olivia back the fighting spirit that cancer had nearly taken away.

“Livvy is happy says a friend. She’s surrounded by the people who genuinely love her Matt and Chloe. And they’ve convinced her she can be the light-hearted person she once was.”

“She couldn’t have made it so far so fast without Matt. They have an amazing relationship. He’ll do anything to keep her out of a funk. As a result, they’re closer than ever - even closer than when they first fell in love”

Australian-born Olivia, 43, has not completely recovered from the cancer or the mastectomy she had six months ago after malignant lumps were found in her right breast, but she has made tremendous strides.

The family spent the holidays at their rented home in Los Angeles while their $2-million beachfront home in Malibu was being completed. On the back burner for next February are film and recording projects.

Another pal says: “Livvy’s super positive now. She looks great and she’s spending time outside of the house.”

“She’s got her own life back and is having a great time she had the best Christmas yet and she’s looking forward to her next project”
