Olivia Newton-John magazine article

A RADIANT Olivia Newton-John has wowed some of the world's major TV buyers at the Cannes launch of her environment series, Human Nature.

The program's producers, Australia's Beyond Group, used Olivia as their secret weapon in a bid to attract international sales for the program at MIPCOM, television's equivalent of the Cannes Film Festival. At a cocktail party at the ritzy Carlton Hotel, Olivia spoke passionately to media and buyers about her concern for the environment and animal rights.

She told them she had originally decided against the offer to host the serias due to ill-health, but later changed her mind because she was desperate to do something to help.

The series, which has taken Olivia from Alaska to South America, filming reports on animals and the environment, will screen on the Nine Network next year.

A relaxed Olivia then spent a couple of days enjoying the French Riviera, as our exclusive TV WEEK pictures show.
