Like John Travolta, Olivia Australia’s favourite daughter hasn’t been far from the spotlight in the past 20 years Nor has she escaped the lows that occasionally marred her co-star’s career.

She was enjoying a successful singing career before landing the role of Sandy in the movie and starting a worldwide obsession for really tight black pants and red Candy mules. After Grease Olivia swapped her Candys for a pair of rollerskates in Xanadu-and everything rolled downhill from there on the movie front.

But musically speaking, things only got better, especially with the release of the leg-warmer hit Physical in 1981.

Since then she’s married hunky Matt Lattanzi, had a daughter, divorced Matt and survived breast cancer. Olivia is also host of the Nine Network’s Wildlife show and will appear in an upcoming episode of Murphy Brown.
