pizzas with personality
Leading food psychologists believe your choice of pizza topping says a lot about you. I don’t eat cheese, but I do like tomato and pepperoni. How about you?
Bad habits
We all have bad habits - from nail-biting to knuckle crunching. Some habits we try to do something about, others we simply live with every day, I’m not saying too much about mine (you really don’t need To know those sorts of details about me!), but here is a list of America’s top 10 bad habits which I imagine are pretty much the same in Australia.
- Lying
- Lateness (oops)
- Forgetfulness
- Cracking knuckles (ouch)
- Obsessive orderliness (never in my house)
- Belching (ditto)
- Inability to commit (we all know that type of guy)
- Being a skinflint
- Procrastinating (been guilty of that on the odd occasion)
- Smoking
So, we’re into February and if those New Year’s resolutions about breaking bad habits are going by the wayside, here’s a good way to counter it:
Choose one bad habit you’d like to break and don’t give up or lose heart. Be persistent and patient.
Jot it down in a diary or keep it in a prominent place so it can motivate you to change your ways.
Friends and family can help you to reach your goal.
Imagine yourself without the habit. Visualise the difference it will make. Soon you’ll be habit-free and will have boosted your self-esteem, too
