Think positive

You’re probably aware by now that I’m a great believer in the power of positive thinking, having relied on it during my battle with breast cancer-and beyond. Being optimistic makes you get the most out of life. You appreciate every single day and learn not to take anything or anyone for granted. Try these few simple changes…

Old you
“It always rains when we plan a picnic”
“If only I had”
“That’s just my bad luck” “it will be lousy.

New you
Don’t be so pessimistic. So what If it does? Avoid generalisations and have an alternative plan that is just as exciting.
Forget about this phrase altogether. In fact, ban it. That was then. Focus on now.
It’s probably not all your fault. Think about how and why something happened before blaming yourself.
How do you know if you don’t try? That party will be lousy if that’s the way you’re feeling. Treat every new opportunity as an adventure.
