Olivia Newton-John back on celluloid with John Travolta, hoping to reprise the Grease magic. It turned out Grease was one of a kind, and featuring God as a narrative artifice tends to be a turkey magnet at the movies. Like Xanadu, the music saved this one, though it was not a musical as such. However, Olivia got a hit single out of it - Twist of Fate did well, Livin' in Desperate Times didn't get the success it deserved.
