John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John were on the Airbus A380’s maiden flight for the Australian airline Qantas in 2008. The first flight of the new A380 took off for Los Angeles.

Both were Qantas ambassadors at the time and helped launch the new jet. Travolta, an experienced pilot, was the first non-test pilot to fly the A380 in Australia, while Olivia co-hosted the flight, serving as chief flight attendant.

Entertainment Today was there to record the flight. Olivia acted as an honorary chief flight attendant, speaking on the intercom and being taught the proper way to pour champagne for guests.

John Easterling joined Olivia as they checked out the reclining seats and the privacy screen.
