A great sit down with Olivia and director Brian Grant in 2011. They take a music video at a time and discuss the themes of the video with behind the scenes insights.

First up is the Physical video, Brian says he wanted to undercut all expectations so had gorgeous men turning into fat men for Olivia to exercise with. Olivia and Brian agree that the gay theme at the end opened up a whole new audience for her.

Silvery Rain, about pollution, begins the theme of water which continues throughout many of the videos here. Brian is critical of his work it dates a little bit in places, technically not as good as it could have been. Olivia on the other hand thinks it's an amazing video especially for the early 80s.

Stranger's Touch is Brian's attempt at the film noir. Olivia recalls the black and white theme, the 40s outfit and nice lighting.

Fourth up is Twist Of Fate, Olivia nearly became a floating head because she came out all dressed in black, the addition of jewellery stopping this happening. John Travolta wasn't there so they used a double and filmed his part in a hotel room 3 days later.

Shakin' You, one of Olivia's favourite songs, was shot in St Peter's Square, Venice at 4am in freezing conditions. The film crew had to consult the mafia every step of the way which Olivia didn't know about at the time. Funds perhaps being limited, Armando Cosio, Olivia's make up and hairdresser, played her love interest.

Livin' In Desperate Times was shot at the Shepperton Studios in London. Brian got the idea of the set from looking at the lyrics on the back cover of an album upside down! Arlene Phillips discusses her choreography and how accurate the dancers had to be to become shapes of words.

Both agree it was an amazing time, full of experimentation, nobody knew anything. MTV was in its infancy. Brian finishes with how they got lucky by being able to record the whole album as videos, no one had done that before.

It'd be great for Olivia do more introspection into her long, varied career. Olivia always claims her detail for dates etc. is terrible but sitting down here with Brian jogs her memory and she begins to remember more.

The programme was called The Artist View - Olivia Newton-John in Australia.
