This was filmed during Olivia's visit to France in November of 1978, but aired in early 1979.

A lovely fly on the wall following Olivia's walkabout in Paris. She has a go at cooking, gives money to some buskers and visits the sights of Paris.

Olivia talks about her career in a voice-over interview. She mentions liking French films. Olivia recalls she and a couple of friends, pretending to be ill from school, go and see the French movie Purple Moon (Plein Soleil, 1960). They saw it three times that day.
