Jaime Escalante, a university lecturer, surprises his students by inviting Olivia into his classroom. This was filmed at Eastmont Intermediate School in Montebello, California.
While talking about the 1960s, Olivia brings along a wig to show what Jaime looked like in 1964!
She explains that in 1964 Australia, the word pollution
wasn’t even known. Olivia also discusses her role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador for the environmental programme, and a short segment from her documentary The Reporters is shown.
