Paul Hogan (playing himself) is reluctantly thrust back into the spotlight as he attempts to restore his sullied reputation when he is due to be Knighted.
Olivia plays herself in a cameo (about 5 mins). She invites Paul to a charity event for disadvantage kids where she and John Travolta will sing a few Grease numbers. Paul reluctantly agrees to go only to initially turn up at the wrong event and make another faux pas.
When he arrives at Olivia's event he is persuaded to stand in for John Travolta who hasn't turned up to perform You're The One That I Want.
This enrages the die-hard Grease fans, unfortunately, Olivia doesn't perform with Paul (she is dissuaded by her manager due to the angry crowd). Bottles are thrown and Paul accidentally knocks out a nun.
This movie was mainly shot in Melbourne, Australia and Olivia filmed her segment in September 2018.
The film was originally scheduled to be released in Australian cinemas on 30 April 2020, but this was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead it was released to streaming platforms and DVD.
It was released on DVD in Germany in 2021.
